Read Someone

Is my sibling a narcissist, or is this just family?

Nobody has watched them longer than you have. The family has a story about each of you, and the story is not always the pattern. Twenty things you have watched them do, as a child, with your parents, with their partners, scored on six axes and set against everyone else who has been rated by a sibling.

Every person you rate goes into their own dataset on the Index, never mixed with people who answered about themselves. The curve for siblings opens at 30 ratings.

Things you have probably watched happen

  • Who the family bends around, and who bends.
  • How they rewrite something you both saw happen.
  • What they do when a parent is ill, or money is on the table.

Every option in the take is a thing a person did, not a thing they meant. Answer with what you saw.

Six axes, one verdict

Psychopathic, sociopathic, narcissistic, borderline, histrionic, neurotypical. The type they read as, the band on every axis, and where they sit against everyone rated.

How to carry yourself

Three lines per verdict from someone who has the pattern from the inside. Recognition, never a plan of attack.

Then send it to them

The result carries a link they can open and take about themselves. The gap between the two readings is usually the whole story.

Frequently asked questions

Can this tell me if my sibling is a narcissist?

No. Nothing on the internet can, and this page does not claim to. It tells you what they read as on six axes, from twenty things you watched them do, and how that compares with everyone who has been rated. A diagnosis needs a clinician, a history, and the person in the room.

Will this change how I see my family?

It might name something you already knew. A reading is what you saw, scored; what you do with it is yours. Every verdict ends with three lines on how to carry yourself, not a plan for a confrontation.

Can they rate me back?

Yes. Send them the link from your result and they can take the Dark Mirror about themselves, or rate you. The gap between how people read to themselves and to each other is usually the interesting part.

Nothing on this page or its results is a diagnosis of anyone. What a person reads as on this instrument, as answered by one person who knows them, is a reading aid. Only a clinician can diagnose, and only with a proper assessment. Aggregates from rated people live on the Dark Mirror Index.
