Can this tell me if my friend is a narcissist?
No. Nothing on the internet can, and this page does not claim to. It tells you what they read as on six axes, from twenty things you watched them do, and how that compares with everyone who has been rated. A diagnosis needs a clinician, a history, and the person in the room.
Should I show them the result?
That is your call. The result page never shows who did the rating. If you send the link they can take the Dark Mirror about themselves, and the two readings side by side say more than either alone.
What if the reading is neurotypical?
Then you have your answer, and the Index will show you how common that reading is among rated friends. Most people rated by a friend do not read as dark; the ones who do stand out.
