I think what you need to know is narcissists will say things to get under your skin. They love to get under your skin and from a personal perspective, because obviously psychopathy involves a lot of narcissism, there is no way that that person didn't love you. Okay? So when they say, I never loved you, that is specifically to hurt you.

They will obviously think about you. They will reminisce. If you notice something, like there is a phenomenon about narcissists where they will ruin every relationship that they're in because their ego, the false self, it cannot continue to live when something is not feeding it. And so they are so sensitive to criticism from the world and they try to act all high and mighty, but they're not high and mighty at all.

They're actually just weak and cowardly and they hate themselves. So if they say things like that, they're trying to get a rise out of you because if a narcissist truly didn't give a fuck about you, you would never hear from them again. Okay?
